Grape variety: Sangiovese
Wine area: 250 to 280 metres above sea level. The soil is clayey and tufa-rich. The training system is "Cordone speronato" and the number of vines per hectare is 5,000.
Fermentation: in steel vats at automatically controlled temperature, with maceration for about 15-20 days, daily pumping over and punching down.
Maturation and aging: in steel vats. Refined in bottles.
Tasting notes: ruby red colour. Vinous bouquet with hints of red berries. The flavour is harmonious, soft and full-bodied.
