Typology: Red I.G.T. Tuscany
Grape variety: Sangiovese.
Wine area: from 250 to 280 meters s.l.m. The soil is clayey and tuff. The training system is the "Cordone speronato" and the number of vines per hectare is 5,000.
Fermentation: in steel tanks at automatically controlled temperature, with maceration for about 20 days and daily pumping over and punching down.
Maturation and aging: 12 months maturation in French oak barrels. Aging 5/6 months in bottle.
Tasting notes: ruby red color with garnet reflections. Very rich and complex bouquet with fresh scents of small fruits. The taste is harmonious and balanced, intense and persistent at the end.
