Grape variety: Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10%.
Wine area: from 250 to 280 meters s.l.m. The soil is clayey and tuff. The training system is "Cordone speronato" and the number of vines per hectare is 5,000.
Fermentation: in steel tanks at automatically controlled temperature, with maceration of about 20 days, daily pumping over and punching down.
Maturation and aging: maturation in French oak barrels. Bottle aging.
Tasting notes: ruby red color with garnet reflections with aging. Vinous bouquet with hints of wild berries. The taste is harmonious and balanced, slightly tannic.
