Lugana
It comes from the vinification of Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, it has unique characteristics for its weather and soil. This wine is pale yellow with intense flavours of exotic fruit, apricot and peach which are perfectly harmonious and incomparably flavoured.
Vine: Trebbiano di Lugana only
Production area: the vines are located in the south of Garda Lake, they are older than 30 years. They are located in the clayey and calcareous plains. The plains has a very fertile soil.
Implants: Guyot density in 5.000 vines per acre
Harvest: grapes are manually harvested in September
Vinification: After a light pressing, the grapes are macerated at low temperatures for a few hours to extract the various odours and to separate and clean the free-run must. A perfect harmony between aromatic and gustative perceptions is obtained this way. After a controlled fermentation at 16° C, it is put into steel.
Lugana and cooking: it is indicated to accompany first courses and seafood dishes, from barbecue to eel in sauce. It is served at 10-12° C.
